Saukville Food Pantry opened it doors to families in need in January of 2012. In the first month we were open, we helped 23 families. Saukville Food Pantry currently serves 80 families per month and in 2016 we have aided over 300 families in Ozaukee County. We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization and we do not receive any State or Federal Assistance. We take pride that our pantry provides a shopping experience that allows our visitors to choose the foods that work best for them and any dietary needs they may have.
Saukville Food Pantry also operates a FREE meal site once a month on the 4th Saturday. With the help of local churches and organizations, we prepare and serve a warm delicious meal to anyone in attendance. Our monthly meal sites serve between 30-50 people a month and provides a warm and friendly environment for people to eat and visit.
Donations Needed: Items in greatest need are as follows: peanut butter and jelly, cereal, canned soups, ketchup, Manwich, canned fruit, canned pasta with sauce, canned beans, dried pasta and jarred pasta sauce, jarred baby food, and personal hygiene items (i.e. toothpaste, bars of soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.). Donation barrels are located at Schmit Bros Ford, Saukville Library, Dawgs in Motion, and J'sports Bar & Grill all in Saukville. Barrels in Cedarburg can be found at the Ozaukee Realtors Association (located in the office building in front of Farmstead Restaurant), Weir Financial and 2theMax Training.
